This is such an eye opening article and thanks so much for all you do. It’s left me just shaking my head sadly even though in my heart and in my head I knew all the data was bullshit.

Yes. Strange really how that happened. It happened immediately to my husband and I as well. But then again there was that study early on that talked about the relative vs absolute risk. Turned out that the media ran with the irrelevant one which was the 96% effective while the other one was 1%. (Sorry I always forget which is which).

The 96% would be the relative risk. Pharmaceutical companies routinely use this to make their products look good in clinical trials. Because most people, including journalists, don't know what it means.
