That explanation only works if this was was all occurring in the US. Does not work when we consider the fact that most every nation on the planet has all followed the same responses. Some longer than others as here in Japan we are still having group events cancelled over fear of covid and masks are still worn with statistical 100% compliance. It does not answer for Italy, nor Germany, Japan, the UK, N.Z. nor any others.
Most, if not all, of those nations have long been conditioned to bow to every whim of government. Its a given they would have gone along. It was US gun owners that needed to be reeled in
Not sure that was true of Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Not sure about other European nations, The Dutch seemed to not take to this very well, nor Canadian truckers.
And while the countries that have a history of doing whatever their THEIR government dictates, they tend to be sensitive about being forced into following what other countries are doing.
I think you give to much credit to gun owners in the US. They haven’t stopped the transgenderism of their own children by their own government, they aren’t going to stop anything.
All you mentioned was very small scale pushback, and all long into the scamdemic. There was next to none in the beginning. And once it took hold, it was harder to get rid of. As for tranny kids, that has nothing to do with anything. Governments are not mandating transgenderism. And are US guns irrelevant? States with strict laws went full tyranny. States with lax laws were nowhere near such measures.
I have several threads going and lost track which was which. A better response to your reply would be, how many are home schooling? Nowhere near as many as need be.
It has everything to do with the issue at hand. All of this started years ago. At first, the abuses were small and not so common, but no one stood up against them. Over time, the abuses have increased in size and number, and nothing has been done to stop them. Now, we have had months to years of childhood experiences and education stolen from them and STILL nothing is done.
In recent years, widespread fraud and horrendous abuses by family courts have been exposed. N Missouri and at least one other State. Throughout all of this there are those talking how Americans could never be forced to put up with the very things we are being forced to put up with because we have guns. I have watch g this from a far for too long to believe that any substantive action will ever be taken. In my view, it should have at least 30 years ago, but everyone was too busy with life to care. In short, ‘ll believe it when I see it and I am not holding my breath.
Covid tyranny is a small piece of a much larger puzzle. The covid tyranny could not happen without decades of ground work. We sat by as the ground work was laid and now have a monumental task ahead of us to stop it when we could have easily done so in its early days.
That's irrelevant. You were implying that parents here do nothing to protect their children. Rising homeschooling rates is proof they do. And its one of many options that dont involve violence. But tyranny only has one way out, the powers who ought not be know that, hence where there were many guns, there was minimal lockdown policy, generally written to be completely voluntary with zero enforcement mechanism. Those gunless states are still dealing with it whereas my state, as other gun friendly ones, officially ended theirs, mine well over a year ago. In fact, there is one city in my state that is still covid crazy, but they have very strict gun laws within city limits.
Parents are not protecting their kids, by and large in the US. A court in Indiana took custody of a child away from its parents because they would not validate its gender preferences. In my view, every single parent and grand parent in the whole country should have taken to the streets and remained until those pushing this transiting BS arrested and charged with child abuse and that every judge that has enforced it some way arrested and charged as an accessory to the crime of child abuse. Instead, silence on the specific case but loud talk about guns.
You clearly do not understand gun ownership, nor people who own guns. You don't just go shooting on a whim. And if you think that is cause for the people of the nation to start a war, its a good thing you don't own one. That said, I am quite bored with this strawman argument of yours, so we're gonna have to agree to disagree. Merry Christmas.
I own 5. They are kept in my parents’ home as I currently live in Japan. If protecting your own kids is not worth going to war over, please do not have children.
All talk. The US has lost an unbelievable amount of ground in the last 40 years and probably more. Here is just one example. I graduated college in 2000. While in school, I worked 3rd shift at a gas station/convince store. All the local cops got their gas at my station. One of the police officers, let’s call him “Officer Smith” was very friendly, always in good humor. However, one night he got a call and he let a load “Fauci!” Never heard him utter a curse word even in jest nor to raise his voice. Surprised I asked him what was going on. As he gathered up the remains of his snack, he said that it was the 7th time that night he had been called over a teenage girl running away from home. I replied that if she were my daughter, that I would lock her in her room. Officer Smith, who had been on his way out the door, turned on his heels and stormed right at me, his face contorted in rage and shouted, “You can’t do that, that is unlawful imprisonment!, turned on his heels and stormed towards the door again. I then said, “In that case, I’d lock her out.” Once again, he turn on his heels and charged at me, face deep red point in g his finger at me and shouted, “You can’t do that, that’s unlawful abandonment. And, if she causes any damage or heaven forbid and injury of death, her parents are legally and criminally responsible!” He then left to go find her and bring her home for the 8th time that night.
It has long been the case, that parents have had their rights towards how to raise their kids eroded while all the responsibilities remain. In the more than 20 years that have passed since that night, I have read case after case of after case serious losses of parental rights and not a single thing being done about it.
There are not many non gun owners trans their kids either. Many are being done at school. One case in Texas, the father lost custody so the mother could trans their son. She had always wanted a girl. The state government intervened on his behalf, but a subsequent went against him again. Last I read, the mother was allowed to trans the young boy. There may have been more recent development int the case though.
Mostly that has to do with numerous legally binding international pacts (WHO agreements e.g.) that oblige these countries to act in concert and are enforced mainly through mechanisms within the World Bank and IMF.
To get the vast majority of countries to go along with the same program as economies have been "globalized" is quite simple.
As one who is spied upon by my banks in Japan for the US for 8 years, I am more knowledgeable than most on what these controls are and how they work. Japan has openly stated that it has just followed what the US CDC recommended. Yes there are treaties and there are sanctions for not following them. Sanctions that were largely negated by locking down and closing borders. Hard to implement sanctions upon travel and trade when all are shut down. Financial/. What financial transactions are necessary when trade and travel are forbidden? Those treaties are at best just excuses. They fact is, those in key positions of governments wanted this. They want it because they have been indoctrinated in their youth, mentored as young members of the bureaucracy and have spent their careers building the systems to implement complete control.
Plus they (those government leaders) have been incentivised in various ways. I don't have inside info, just my observations, but here in Australia it is pretty obvious that our PM is just a puppet (recently we had a change of government, but that just means a new puppet). For many years now, any PM who does not toe the party line (either party) gets ousted. And Scott Morrison, our pandemic PM, was a particularly compliant puppet, and with WEF links. They ALL have links to the NGOs - they are all in each other's pockets. Scomo appointed a Covid National Coordination Team, with a lady called Jane Halton as a key member, who just happens to be the chair of CEPI. There is heaps more that I have noted for Australia - but whichever country you are in, you will find the same links if you dig. They get promised appointments, financial interests, etc etc (I do not know the details, not being a government insider). But this is how it all works.
That explanation only works if this was was all occurring in the US. Does not work when we consider the fact that most every nation on the planet has all followed the same responses. Its called home schooling, which spiked the past two years.

That's also irrelevant. And to honest, none of if has anything to do with the issue at hand

The issue at hand is covid tyranny.
Covid tyranny is a small piece of a much larger puzzle. The covid tyranny could not happen without decades of ground work. We sat by as the ground work was laid and now have a monumental task ahead of us to stop it when we could have easily done so in its early days.
Home schooling is not universally allowed even in the Sates, certainly is not here in Japan.

US gun owners aren't transing their kids.
US gun owners are last bastion of freedom. All other nations have fallen, from what I saw in 2021. They let their people come and play
All talk. The US has lost an unbelievable amount of ground in the last 40 years and probably more. Here is just one example. I graduated college in 2000. The long century of satan.
I told my 18 ... When you have family, you and your husband rights as parents are sacrosanct. She doesn't hear me. Nobody does
As well there are very specific treaties that oblige those countries to act in concert. If they do not they will be subject to various sanctions.
