Azar was the chief DC lobbyist for the pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and then went on to become president of Eli Lilly in the US. He resigned from Eli Lilly in January of 2017 and on November 13, 2017 Trump tweeted he was going to nominate Alex Azar as Secretary of HHS.
Azar was confirmed by the Senate on January 24, 2018. HHS oversees the NIAID, the NIH, the FDA, the CDC and numerous other unconstitutional agencies.

Too short a time frame. This is a much larger problem than covid. The ground work for this is at least two generations long. I am 52. I know from my early education and supported by many sources since that what we were being told we had to do to stop this virus would not work. Therefore, the “experts” telling us to do so were either liars or frauds and not to be trusted. How is it that most chose to trust them? I believe that for the younger members of society it is because they were not taught about viruses and vaccination in elementary school, or what they were taught differs greatly from what. Was taught. For those my age and older, I have no idea. I have been trying for decades to figure out how my old classmates came to have the understanding of the world they have given it is almost entirely at odds with our shared education and life experiences. I have many theories, but I can not say for sure how this came about.
Just a couple of simple examples to show that for all this nonsense to be believed by so many around the world, a lot of time and effort in indoctrinating instead of educating has gone of for quite some time. Never before, as far as I can find, have so many nations with their differing cultures and ways followed the same path against a common problem.
For reference, I am an American living in Japan. While Japan overtly followed The US is in its response, the US largely followed the UK. Both the US and Japan initially followed a wait and see policy, well so did the UK until that nut job in the UK scared the PM there with his death toll numbers. But none of that explains why everyone in these countries and most others just blindly followed what they were told.
I used to not buy in to this as it is a worldwide phenomenon. However, as he alone as a world leader could stop them, or at least make t more difficult for them, It very well may be possible that other governments where in on it.
Please disabuse yourself of this notion. Trump is every bit the corrupt carnival barker as the rest who reside in the DC swamp.
